Former high school teacher, now heading an NGO engaged in peace, human rights and anti-racism education. Was involved in the struggle for liberation in SA and still engaged in concerns about the state of the nation and empowerment of the marginalised and disadvantaged majority.
Been involved in the adult and community education movement in Africa and still part of the regional association for literacy and adult education.

I'm doing fundraising now, but previously ran a mediation program for a long time in Oakland, CA between youth charged with crimes and crime vicitims, and later trained mediators across the US and for about a year off and on in London, primarily with emigrant populations living in South London, to deal with conflicts.
