Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
Robinson & Yu LLC helps clients harness Internet technologies to address civic problems. Some of our clients are technology experts who want a fresh perspective or a deeper analysis of the areas where these tools can be applied in innovative ways. Others are policy leaders who find the technology landscape promising but challenging, and who need clear, accessible guidance about how technology can best help them achieve their goals. We often provide clients with detailed practical assessments of particular technological options—taking into account both technical and policy concerns—so they can optimize policy and investment decisions.
Among our past projects, we’ve worked with the telecommunications ministry of a developing country to create an actionable roadmap for their nation-wide open government data initiative. We have also performed in-depth research for a Fortune 100 company, examining the intersection of governance and new digital technologies. And we’ve gained firsthand experience working on technology projects related to all three branches of the U.S. government.
