Cynthia is a licensed professional counselor, mediator, and peer educator who coordinates a county-wide peer mediation program in her school district. Cynthia is a former chair of the Association for Conflict Resolution Educatin Section, a member of the National Association of Peer Professional Programs, and was recently awarded the National Associaton of Professional Women award for female educator of the year.

In addition to her work with students, Cynthia has coordinated several peer mediation conferences in Georgia and other states. She has trained educators in the Association for Conflict Resolution mediation standards and is currently working on her certification as a Conflict Resolution Education for Teacher Education trainer.
