I trained as a musician in Canada and have performed around Canada and the UK. I taught music in secondary schools in the UK and I am now half-way through a PhD in music sociology.

I am researching the potential role of music in conflict transformation with links to theories of how people behave based on their beliefs. My field work is within two community choirs, one in London, UK and one in Sarajevo, BiH.
