I have an LLM in Human Rights Law from Queen's University Belfast, and a BSc (Hons) in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Ulster. I currently work for Save the Children as Communications and Campaigns Co-ordinator, with a special interest in child poverty contributing to both regional and national campaigns.
In 2010 I took part in the Young Emerging Leaders Programme, funded by the U.S State Department and organised by the Washington Ireland Programme. The 10 day study tour had a focus on policing and justice with visits to Washington D.C, Philadelphia and New York.
I am currently training to become a Youth Peace Ambassador for the Council of Europe strengthing my skills and practice on human rights, democracy, peace-building and coflict resolution.
