Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I am an international affairs practitioner and researcher with extensive experience in the peacebuilding, development and human rights fields. I am pursuing a career in international public service, and I am currently seeking an entry- to mid-level opportunity in the New York City area.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Thessaloniki, Greece, where I worked with the Center for Democracy and Reconciliation in SE Europe and ARSIS on projects related to post-conflict issues throughout the Balkans. After graduation, I spent three years working in the Education and Training Center at United States Institute of Peace, primarily on projects in Iraq, but also in the Balkans, Central Asia, South Asia, and Africa.
I am pursuing a Master's Degree in International Affairs at Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs in New York, where I am focusing my studies and International Security Policy and Conflict Resolution. Since coming to New York, I have worked with UNDP in Cyprus, Columbia's Institute for the Study of Human Rights, UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations and PCDN.
