Greetings from Shapla Mohila Sangstha (SMS), a women initiative, Bangladesh . SMS is a non-government development women organization mandated to contribute in the development of poor and disadvantaged section in Bangladesh according to their need and aspiration. The particular aim of the organization is the advancement of the women and adolescents and children through building their capacities to raise voices against discrimination and violence against them and establishing their equal rights as human being. The organization was established in 1997 at Faridpur district of South- western region of Bangladesh and obtain registration from The Women Affairs department, Government of Bangladesh ( # WAD 99/190, dated November 28, 1999 and also been registered with, NGO Affairs Bureau under the Office of Prime Minister, Government of Bangladesh(#1841,dated June 17, 2003).We addressed health Issues since 1997. Shapla Mohila Sangstha (SMS), in partnership with Actionaid have been trying to extend services to them. among notable services include, providing education support to the children of sex workers, building capacity of female sex workers self help groups, advocating for their rights, providing health services like running mobile clinic to treat sexual transmitted infections/diseases and promote awareness about HIV/AIDS among sex workers and their clients. of-course, this is done out of community resentment and such works of SMS are seen to be against the cultural norms. However, through numerous campaigns and advocacy meetings, some prominent people, politicians have come to appreciate and understand the works of SMS. They have pledged to work closely with SMS to address the plight of such categories of people especially the Female Sex Workers and their Children.

"Vasudev kutukbkam" entire world is a family, this was a teaching of our indian culture and traditional.
we created countries, boundaries,religions,cast,race for a genuine reason or a false reasons for any reason.but this the time to realize that we are one and we naturally interconnected with each other ,which we can just realize by watching inhale and exhale of breaths the source is same ,without any discrimination,religion, boundaries, equally for all living life of universe .When we understand this simple thing then we must understand how our and other's life is equally important, valuable ,respectable .we should follow the nature's rule ,non violence .peace ,god has given us a human life not for destruction but for look after the wellbeing of all living life.
