I was born and mostly educated in Dallas TX, emigrated to California for a traditional martial apprenticeship and a slew of professional certifications, then became a husband, a father, and a graduate of Pacifica Graduate Institute. I am a professional community builder, cultural mythologist, academic psychologist, peace activist, performer, facilitator, writer, teacher of Aikido and martial nonviolence, student/archivist and purveyor of "new paradigm" media, and a non-profit executive as co-founder of Association Building Community. I coined and we developed the term "Process Arts" to introduce participatory practices and autocriticality into the Commons through the Liberal Arts.
