Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
Began studying religion during my undergraduate and focused my graduate studies on religious and identity conflicts and how they influence violence. As I saw both the beauty and danger of religion, I realized it will take a concerted effort to encourage people to seek the peace of their religions and cultures rather than violence.

Hey Brandon,

Thanks for the invitation to connect. I'm currently living in Tel Aviv and am just starting to dabble in some grant writing work for Mepeace.org. Are you familiar with the site? I took a look at some of the work you've been doing, are you working on any specific projects in the Israel - Palestine?

Best,

Alison

Brandon, Thanks for the connection and invitation to collaborate on an article for Music and Arts in Action. Seems we'd share much in that regard and with your interest in the role of religion in conflict. We should be talking, yes.. I am in the midst of a practicum and writing another article through June, but perhaps after that if you are still at it. I'm interested to learn more about your work.

Hi Brandon,

Nice to meet you. Yes we do have several common interests! This is an amazing network to connect, share and learn from one another.

I checked out ARIA's website and it seems like such a resourceful link. I'm interested in learning more about Action Research/Evaluation, because I know that it relates directly to my community development work. I will pass on this new knowledge to the people I work within hope that we can start improving our work in-process. Always in process!! :)

Would love to hear more about your work and that event (i think) in Beth Jala you mentioned...

thanks for connecting
smiles =)

Brandon - You'd asked if I have a daughter named Lisa. I don't, but I have a cousin about ten years younger named Lisa. I think she lives either in Toronto or Vancouver - haven't kept in touch.

Hi Brandon

Thanks for your message! Its a shame we didn't get a chance to chat when you were over this direction. I had a look at your website and there's definitely room for some collaborative work between our organisations.

We are in the middle of finally updating our website but we could skype etc if you had any specific ideas in mind. Our organisation is currently working throughout Northern Ireland and also in Kosovo, San Francesco, Canada and Zimbabwe and we would certainty be interested in some collaborative work on Intra-group Pre-Negotiation training.

Are you planning any trips back this direction in the near future?

Thanks again for your message Brandon and all hope to hear from you soon

Enda
