Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
Manipur-India conflict has been protracted for more than half a century. Closely linked to this is the ethnic conflict. Direct and structural violence continues. Many people died in the continueing conflict. The protracted conflict situation motivated me to become involved in peace and conflict resolution.

I was born and brought up in a pluralistic society. I was invloved in various socio-politcal movements in my student days.
I started my career as a journalist in 1991. Now, I am a Peace and Conflict Practitioner working to transform the conflicts in Manipur and the North-Eastern Region of India.
