Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
Human rights and Responsibilities belong to each of us. I want to do my part.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I am widely known as "Bill" Sundhu and I am a lawyer, former judge and currently enrolled in a Masters Programme of International Human Rights Law at the University of Oxford in tandem with private legal practice.

I am a trial and appellate lawyer with 25 years experience in the courts as a lawyer and trial judge. I have training and experience in conflict resolution, rule of law, human rights and cultural and diversity issues. My primary motivation for pursuing law was human rights and justice issues - borne out of family experience of civil war and discrimination in the immigrant experience.

I have returned to law and advocacy as I believe it is the most meaningful way for me to speak out and be engaged in helping others.

I when ever i visit India i never feel like i am a stranger, the love, affection and sentiments which i feel in mumbai, it will always remains in the golden memories of my life. When I met professional like you its gives me boost to work more for peace as last week i meet with Rajiv Khanna, Professor of law in Dehli University, he is such a nice and experienced person.
