What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?

Ethiopia is a nation located in the Horn of Africa, a region which is extremely volatile and which nurtures more of the conditions of conflict and crises than the conditions of peace. I personally believe in peaceful life and existence, in development, improvement, and exalted human well-being – An end that can only be fully realized with the contribution of all.

I graduated from Addis Ababa University in Political Science and International Relationships. And I was working with ActionAid Ethiopia – on human right and gender issues. I am currently engaged in peace building program with a humanitarian organization in a refugee context and internally displaced peoples.
