Bernardo Venturi holds a PhD in Political Studies at the University of Bologna. He is Lecturer at the University of Bologna and at the Marist College, Florence Campus.

In the last years, periods of research led him to the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), to the George Mason University (Washington D.C.), and to the Peace Research Institute, Oslo (PRIO). Recently, he conducted researches in Moldova on the impact of International Organizations and NGOs on the Moldova-Transnistria conflict.

He finds extremely fruitful to combine research, training, and political advocacy. For this reason, he divides himself between training, research and work on the field.
