What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
My country (Uganda) is facing a lot of insecurity in the north,(cattle rustling and rebel activities ).The North Eastern is faced with insurgencies such as floods and hunger leaving the locals in a state of misery and the youth jobless leading to engagement in dubious activities.

I am a Ugandan from the north eastern part,my region is facing a problem of floods that left many homeless,at the moment Teso region in N.E,is facing a problem of hunger and starvation due to the drought in the area.This has resulted to loss of lives .

Civil military Cooperation project in Karamoja,with the aim of strengthening civil-military co-operation in karamoja for sustainable peace and security in the region. Score card,that's helping in assessing the performance of the parliamentary officials,I am doing research on cross border conflict that's caused by cattle rustling among the four countries,Ethiopia,Kenya,Uganda and Sudan,Support to peace building,human rights promotion and protection(PB & HRP) in karamoja finding solutions to support the transformation of raiding routes into corridors for peace and production in karamoja.

Presidential Terms

The Ugandan president has been on power for 24yrs now and the constitution is being defied,every election year the president asks for another term.Our president has already had a third term and rumor has it that there is going to be a fourth term,where is our leadership leading us to?

In this reign there is a lot of corruption,war,insurgencies and violence,where do you think our country is heading,is it a one man rule country or is there a constitution in our country?
