Profile Information

Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I am currently a master's student at NYU's center for Global affairs where my degree concentration is Peacebuilding. I am also the managing editor for the journal of Peacebuilding and Development. I have a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics.

Whilst at the LSE, I volunteered with Migrant Helpline's Gateway Protection program which involved conducting orientations for newly arrived refugees into the United Kingdom. Over the winter of 2006, I interned with the European Centre for Development and Policy Management in Maastricht.

Since graduating from the LSE, I have worked in Mauritius and the DRC. In Mauritius, I have worked with the National Empowerment Foundation on its pilot integrated housing project and La Chrysalide - the only drug rehabilitation centre for women in the Indian Ocean. In June 2009, I spent a short time with UNDP in Lumumbashi, DRC as an intern in the Agriculture Program. Since December 2009, I have been an intern with the International Rescue Committee's youth program in New York.
