Profile Information

Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
Anhad Production House was set up in 2008 by a group of film-makers who believed in making purposeful documentaries and short-films. Anhad as the name suggests means boundry-less or limit-less. That is why it was so apt for us. We at Anhad production believe in thinking out of the box and trying out new and different ideas.

The mainstream media has continuously been ignoring the oppressed and the marginalised and have not been giving them a space to voice their concerns. This neglection of a large number of our population by our media led us to come together and work on issues that are the real concerns of our country. We at Anhad Production House aim at making films that can be used to fight stereotypes and social bondages that exist around us. It is our belief that the aim of cinema is not only to entertain but also to bring about a change in society. We believe that films can help in changing attitudes and also make a difference, no matter how big or small it is.

We at Anhad Production House believe in producing innovative, entertaining and engaging films. The creative impulse at the studio is driven by the need to work on ideas that are both dynamic and socially responsible. Our productions are diverse in nature. We have shot all over India and have developed a tremendous bank of footage and stories that represent various facets of our country.
