Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
It provides me to know what is the latest going on in this sector.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
Right after my high school I earned my own living by giving tuition and doing part time teaching job at some or the other educational institute. It was just after my Graduation that I started working for an NGO. For long the NGO and Me Stopped working together, But till today there is a relationship that thrives on sharing ideas and vision.

With this preamble let me introduce you to my working experience and expertise. I have been working in development sector since last 11 years (including three years of voluntary work). My work has taken me to the interiors of Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand of India.

Social mobilisation, Child rights, women empowerment are my core area of interest. I Am specially working with the excluded communities of Jharkhand (Santhal tribes).

I also work in the capacity of a trainer and specialises on Leadership development, NREGA, Social Audit, gender, Child rights, Health and nutrition and Water quality. Another area of interest is research; I have done intensive research on child prostitution, starvation deaths in Jharkhand, Alternative farmer's policy and TRIPS agreement. I am well versed with the research tools and methodology.
