Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
My first job out of college was with a parliamentary consultancy - all my clients seemed to be arms manufacturers. I have been trying to make up for it ever since.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I have been working in related fields since 1992, first with a large international development charity, then the United Nations humanitarian coordination organisation (OCHA), before joing the World Health Organization. Since the year 2000 I have been with the mediation organisation the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue.

My particular professional interest is in identifying, reaching and pursuading particular audiences, which may be defined as advocacy. I am also interested in information tools and processes that help get the job done.
