Clean Hands Project Photo Exhibit Opening! at Tryst Cafe

March 5, 2009 from 7pm to 9pm
I'm excited to tell you about a photo exhibit opening event taking place this Thursday evening at the Tryst Cafe in Adams Morgan. The opening will feature photographs taken as a part of the Clean Hands Project, an effort headed up by Jes Therkelsen and Phoebe Gilpin. I grew-up in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, moved to Washington, D.C. in 2001 to do my undergraduate studies at the George Washington University. I completed my undergraduate studies in May, 2005 with a B.A. in International Affairs, a concentration in development, and a minor in music. Part of my B.A. degree was earned while studying abroad in Ecuador and South Africa.

I have been working for International Center on Nonviolent Conflict since October, 2005 and am currently their Director of Programs and Services.

I think that Injustice,Illetiracy, and hunger are the main reason of Terrorism,Extremism and so we all should unite and struggle seriously for the promotion of Free Education,Justice and Eradication of Poverty so that we can have Better Globe free of War,Terrorism and Extremism.
