Profile Information

Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs): Alonso Muñoz is the Program Manager of the UPEACE Centre for Executive Education. Prior to his work at the Centre, Alonso worked with the private sector for two years. However, he has spent most of his free time volunteering for CISV, a nonprofit organization founded on the aim of achieving peace through cross-cultural understanding and friendship. There, he played a varied number of roles on national and international levels, including spending several months in Germany and Japan directing summer camps. Besides CISV, Alonso was president of the Engineering Faculty of the Universidad de Costa Rica, same school where he graduated as an electrical engineer. He loves travelling and multi-national environments and he's a backpacker at heart!
