Adeoye Abimblola is a PhD Candidate at The Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan. He finished his Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies in 2011. His research focused on Community Crime Prevention in one the sensitive communities in the South-Western Nigeria. His current PhD research will focus on Security and Crime Prevention in the Sahel.He will be investigating the role regional organisations such ECOWAS, Maghreb club and IGAD can play on security and crime prevention with effective information and intelligent sharing.
