The Scramble for Natural Resourses the beginning of a New Era in global Politics & Security

Posted on April 5, 2011 at 8:11pm 1 Comment

2011has so far witnessed the continuous upsurge in the demands of common people for their collective freedoms of expression, assembly and the right to make political decision that can bring change in any country, violating the human rights of innocent people.

What can be seen as a peoples´revolution can also be translated as a way to the control of the natural resources and the political decision making body of a country, through the creation of support groups fighting for their…

IN RESPONSE TO DISCUSSION FORUM:

Hi Abdoulie,
What area of study are you guys interested in it? Just in Peace and conflict or other areas such as governance, communication, media, public health etc? I am also part of another network called "The Drum Beat" and a large number of the opportunities they advertise are for Africa-focussed projects or African people. Go here: http://www.comminit.com/en/africa and there's a list on the left that includes "Funding". It's not as regularly updated as PCDN but still good. :)
