nice meeting u here
It would be nice to meet and discuss our research projects. I'll be in London for a brief period only between 11 and 19 January, if you think you might be at LSE, please send me an email closer to the date at F.Daftary@lse.ac.uk so we can have a chat.
Re. my research I'm not actually exclusively using quantitative methodology, my original intention was to combine an initial quantitative analysis with four case studies. However, having worked with the Minorities at Risk dataset for a while I realised that I needed to recode a number of the autonomy-related variables myself and so this has become the focus of the project. I still intend to refer to cases but they will be illustrative rather than in-depth case studies.
Here's what (little) I have on the MANU partition proposal. More in a separate message.
Best,
Eben

Have you written anything else on Macedonia?
Best wishes
Good to hear from you. I think that I've attached the article. If it doesn't appear, send me an e-mail address and I'll try it again as a standard attachment.
Cheers,
Eben

Sorry for not responding earlier. How is your thesis progressing? Are you traveling to Macedonia? I would love to meet with you. I am working on my PhD in Peace and Development here, at the Skopje Peace and Security Institute. It is mainly related to conflict mediation and translation, but maybe we could still help each other.
Interestingly, I also worked in Prishtina for a year at UNHCR.
Best,
Marija

Just saw your friend request... I'm glad I found another MK enthusiast doing a PhD in Peace Studies. Got mine in 2007 and don't know how I managed to miss you. Do you live in Brad or somewhere else? Could we meet for coffee next time I'm in the UK? I have a feeling we'll have lots to talk about.
Best,
Isabelle
