- Yusuf Abubakar is my name from the South West Nigeria (Edo) but was born and brought up in the South East Nigeria (Enugu) and currently live in the North Central. This is a demonstration of my affinity with the different ethnic groups that make up Nigeria and my appreciation of their fears, interest and traumas. Incidentally, I studied Philosophy for my first degree and International Relations for my second degree. I am also a PhD student in International Relations.
I work at the National Defence College Nigeria, the highest military training institution in Nigeria. My 14 years of working at the College have been mainly directed at researches on conflict resolution, peace building and defence management. In recent time, I have been keen in carrying out studies in terrorism especially as it has to do with Islam.
I am a Muslim, married with Children.
