Comment by Liviu C. Caliman on March 14, 2011 at 7:30am Dear friends in the developing world, rather than looking for solutions in the so-called 'developed' world, it could be better to get together and push for change for the better in your own countries.
Governments in the West/North don't really care that much about your wellbeing, and they have a lot of problems to deal with in their own countries. Don't be fooled declarations of intent and by public relations. I think that, at the most, they will be helping ease poverty in the countries where it becomes a hindrance to their own 'security' and interests (as long as this does not conflict with their interests), so that it will not create problems to the status quo they benefit from.
You'll get more support from the civil society, from NGOs and individuals across the world who care about your needs and aspirations, who want to see a more just and peaceful world. But the hard work needs to be started and done by you, in your communities and countries. Peacefully.
Comment by Ranjeev shrestha on March 13, 2011 at 1:13pm Nepali Youth has been frustrated and large number of them are going to foreign country for study and job.Brain drainage is high here.Unemployment rate is very much high.
This forum will help at least at some issues regarding the youth.
