The Peace Portal has been developed in partnership with other civil society organisations, inside and outside the Netherlands.

The Peace Portal is an unique online platform for cooperation, learning and action in the conflict prevention and peacebuilding field. The Portal includes features such as social networking capabilities, real time information and user-generated information. The Portal is intended for anyone involved in conflict prevention and peacebuilding, for civil society organisations working for peace and for local communities living the consequences of war.

Dear Paudyal,

This is very interesting. Perhaps you can show us an example of this and write a story about how it can be brought about. You are welcome to submit it as an entry for the Stories of Peace Challenge.

Peacebuilding is more than tranquility and security. Secured places may also have tensile environment where every individual remains under stress for his own development and contribution to the nation. Thus, peacebuilding should be regarded as a comprehensive asset that brings opportunities to prosper, capabilities to develop and second chances for every efforts he make for the welfare of an individual and the community.
