The Stories of Peace Challenge is now open to participants!
This July and August, there will be a contest on the Peace Portal: The Stories of Peace Challenge! We invite you to share your story on peace and get published! The 25 best stories will be published in "People Building Peace 2.0" and winners receive ten copies of the book. One of these winners will be offered customized features and professional services on the Peace Portal, worth € 500,-, for free! Please click here for more information.
We would like to use this space to hear from you: what do you think, questions about how to participate, suggestions on how to improve our challenge and our portal, but more importantly we want to hear your stories of peace!!
The Peace Portal is an initiative of the GPPAC Foundation (formerly known as European Centre for Conflict Prevention) supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs and the City of The Hague. The Peace Portal has been developed in partnership with other civil society organisations, inside and outside the Netherlands.
The Peace Portal is an unique online platform for cooperation, learning and action in the conflict prevention and peacebuilding field. The Portal includes features such as social networking capabilities, real time information and user-generated information. The Portal is intended for anyone involved in conflict prevention and peacebuilding, for civil society organisations working for peace and for local communities living the consequences of war.
