East Timor Law and Justice Bulletin advocates for the establishment of an international criminal tribunal to prosecute crimes against humanity and human rights abuses committed in East Timor during the period of the illegal Indonesian occupation from 1975 through to 1999.

A petition to the United Nations has been created to request that the Secretary-General take all necessary actions to establish such a tribunal.

The petition is at http://www.petitiononline.com/etcah/petition.html for those who wish to sign it.
