Very difficult days ahead for Pakistan. We have to calmly rethink our policies and fix new priorities.

We got to get our act together. That is for sure. Mobilize the public to set a new direction for Pakistan. We depend on no one but ourselves. Let the debate begin anew. We must somehow succumb the courage to meet the crisis. May Allah protect Pakistan.

A meeting was held in NUML for two hours in the office of Dr. Sohail Mahmood on 29th April, 2011.

Mr. Asad Ali Shah and Ms. Syeda Namra Khalid have attended the meeting.

Few things were discussed regarding the 5th objective (see the objectives) and future campaign of the group. The details of the meeting are as follows:

1. Mr. Asad Ali Shah will develop a campaign for mobilizing youth on anti-corruption awareness. He will present the details of the campaign in the meeting on 13th May, 2011.
2. It was decided that we will launch a page on Facebook for our future campaigns.
3. The objective of the future campaign is ‘Public Awareness and Mobilization in the Fight against Corruption’. We had a brain storming session about it. All of you are requested to contribute your ideas and money to the new campaign. All donations, no matter how small, are welcome. Please be generous in this noble cause. We depend on you to act now.
4. In reference to the previous meeting agenda (collection of books for Swat Library), Mr. Khawar Naeem has been assigned the duty to design the brochures.
5. It has been decided that the domain name for the website should be in English language. So all the members are requested to suggest the names in English. The most popular name as yet is FuturePakistan.
6. Since corruption is one of the major problems of Pakistan, so we wish to invite public participation to report the issues/incidents of blatant corruption to this group. We particularly welcome witnessed accounts of corruption incidents. Also, we need few volunteers for compiling reports on monthly basis. An annual report will be compiled on the basis of these submitted reports. Please note that only authentic reports will be retained.
