Currently, the future of Pakistan’s political system appears dismal. Too much time has been lost and Pakistan has been left behind. The political and economic sectors require urgent reform, and the current focus of attention on reform issues should be used as a stimulus for change. The very existence of a stable democratic system is dependent on an comprehensive accountability mechanism . The government must find the will and commitment to reform itself.

Mobilization of the public to promote greater accountability of the Government of Pakistan. Opening up government policymaking structures for greater public input. Opening up the policy process for greater public participation. Essentially, the idea is to make the public an asset in promoting greater accountability of state agencies. Week public institutions cannot be expected to reform themselves in the absence of public pressure. These groups will provide the needed pressure by involving citizens, especially educated youth. The idea is to involve the public in fighting corruption. Strengthen civil society to be better involved in fighting corruption. Thus, the initiative will promote good governance and accountability in the country.
