Comment by Sohail Mahmood on March 28, 2011 at 3:21am The key to meaningful change is to emphasize quality education. The education sector is being squeezed of funding while scarce money is being diverted to the defense sector. We have already achieved a lot in developing Pakistan’s defenses. Now we should concentrate in developing our education sector. The Government has failed to live up to it promises in providing education to the nation’s youth. Much needs to be done in the sector. As a group we can, and should, join the March for Education movement. Please check the site and sign the petition. We do whatever we can to bring quality education in the country. What better way to start than a movement to improve education in Pakistan?

Comment by Sohail Mahmood on March 27, 2011 at 9:22am All our indeed accountable, even the Army. Pakistan must have rule of law and public accountability of all. There is no exception. The public must be aware of its central place in Pakistan's polity. After all, the Republic was made for the people and serves them alone. We need to create greater awareness of the issue in the popular mind. This calls for greater democratization of both state and society in Pakistan and a public demand for good governance. This is what the group is all about. I am glad for the above comments.
