I am a master's student at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame. I am contacting you regarding the internship program at the Alliance for Peacebuilding. According to the program at the Kroc, I have to intern for a period of 6 months starting July 2012 at an organization that works on conflict resolution and peacebuilding. I noticed on your website that you currently have some openings for spring internships and I wanted to ask first if you accept interns for a long period, and second if there are any positions that i can starting applying for, for the above mentioned period.

My name is Engy and I am a first year MA Peace Studies student at the University of Notre Dame. I am contacting you as I am required to do a research on a public policy issue and make recommendations for government entities at whatever level. There is no certain area or field of study that is required, so I mainly choose the topic. I was wondering if the Alliance for Peace organization would be interested that I do the research for them  on an area of their choice.

"Vasudev kutumbkam" entire world is a family, this was a teaching of our Indian culture and tradition.
We created countries, boundaries,religions.But this is the time to realize that we are one, our source of life and breath is same , we naturally interconnected with each other.When we understand this simple thing then we must understand how our and other's life is equally important, valuable and respectable.God has given us a human life to look after the wellbeing of all living life in this planet.
