Comment by Liviu Caliman on December 18, 2011 at 11:04am We've got news!!
Peace Leadership was listed in the "December 2011 Top 50 Leadership Experts to Follow on Twitter". @PeaceLeadership is at number 20 !!
This project was initially started as a personal contribution, out of passion for peace, good leadership, and a better world. Given that 2011 was by far the most difficult year in my life, the timing is just perfect. I am honoured, humbled, and grateful for this recognition, especially as the project is still in an early phase.
I am also very grateful to all the wonderful people and organisations that I got to meet, know, and interact with during this time!!
If you use twitter or facebook, and we are not yet connect, come join us! Let's connect, keep in touch, share, learn, and collaborate for peace and a better world!

Comment by Liviu Caliman on April 3, 2011 at 3:42pm Welcoming María Julia Solovitas from Argentina, Ranjeev shrestha from Nepal, and Muhammed Nawaz Khan from Pakistan!
I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest current and future group members to consider making friends/connecting with each other, and to also connect with @PeaceLeadership on twitter, if you use twitter. If you do, please be kind to send a mention/message to let me know, so that I can recognise and follow you. I'd really appreciate this, as it is impossible to check all followers on twitter due to time pressure.
With wishes of peace and happiness to each and all,
Liviu
Comment by Liviu Caliman on March 7, 2011 at 8:16am Let's welcome Maryan Hassan and Andrew Habel Odongo! Thank you for joining!
Maryan is currently doing research work within the Puntland Development Research Center (PDRC) in Somalia. She is interested in the education of women, its impact within the society and its roles in peacebuilding, and women's roles in peace building and conflict resolution).
Andrew is a peace teacher and trainer in Kenya. He intends to form a Regional Institute for Peace Education (RIPE) aimed at providing intervention measures concerning peace through schools, churches and community organizations.
Please feel free, actually invited, to contribute to the group's aim and the work/goals of other group members, as you find it appropriate. Everyone a peace leader!
Comment by Liviu Caliman on February 14, 2011 at 5:50am Stephen Ward has joined the group. Welcome Stephen!
He tries to develop a very interesting project, a peace pyramid.
'The aim of the project is to construct a giant time capsule with every country in the world contributing to it. By doing this we hope it will be a great way to get the world working together on a positive venture and give ordinary people around the world a chance to feel like their opinions matter and can be heard for generations to come.' With best wishes to each and all,
Liviu
Comment by Liviu Caliman on February 3, 2011 at 10:36am A warm welcome to the group to Philip Austin ( www.nfpb.gn.apc.org )!
Having experienced rather similar events in my native country Romania, my heart goes now to those in Egypt. Although establishing a healthy democracy there will not be easy, getting rid of the (USA-supported) dictator is badly needed. The courageous Egyptians deserve all our solidarity and support!

If all aware people will take a stand for peace and help others join the cause of peace, there will be peace much sooner than we imagine.
I read this yesterday and liked it: "Leadership, in a word, is love, and leadership without love is no leadership at all." ~ Dr Jack King
