About the Trainer

Ms. Thomason is a consultant, personal coach, and trainer in the field of conflict management and communication. Her training and coaching practice focuses on negotiation, effective communication, and diversity management. She holds a B.S.F.S. in International Politics from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she completed a concentration in Diplomacy and Policy Making, focused on multilateral and international negotiation. Bobbi earned her M.A. in Eastern European Regional Studies from Columbia University where she focused on the former Yugoslavia and the role of memory in community building within a post-conflict environment. After earning her master’s degree, Bobbi was a Fulbright Scholar to Austria.

Bobbi continues to be involved in research on negotiation and social mission-driven organizations at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Business School, where she has published both academic articles and Harvard Business School cases. She has lived in France and Austria and speaks English, French, and German.
