The long term objective of this Sida funded programme is to contribute to an integrated sustainable development of coastal zones in which the needs and rights of poor people are taken into account. This shall be achieved through supporting processes of change in key organisations working with planning and management of coastal zones.
The training programme is organised by NIRAS Natura together with School of Global Studies at the University of Gothenburg and Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS). It is built around the participants’ Change Process projects, which enable participants to link the learning from the programme to their own work context, while supporting processes of change in their home organisations.
The training programme will address the following key topics:
Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Tunisia.
