This policy memo, titled "The Apex of Influence:  How Summit Meetings Build Multilateral Cooperation," is based on a conference at the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago from May 10-11, 2012.  At the conference, experts on international politics and policy came together to discuss many issues, including various global challenges requiring action, and the limited response from the international community in regards to these challenges.  Specific multilateral bodies discussed included NATO, the Eurozone, G-20, and the G-8.
