Peace and Collaborative Development Network

Building Bridges, Networks and Expertise Across Sectors

Dear Colleagues

Greetings. In order to help to grow the network and to attract new members, we would like to start a page on the network highlighting comments of how members are using or benefiting from the Peace and Collaborative Development Network. If you might have time to provide brief comments on how this site has helped you in your work/professional development, this would be very helpful. In your responses please also include your name, job, organization, location and if we have permission to post your comments on a separate page promoting the network. You can post in this discussion or send feedback directly to me.

Some possible benefits from being on the site might include:

* New Contacts
* Obtaining a Scholarship
* Attending a Training Program
* New Research
* New Information
* New Projects
* Other Areas

Thanks to receiving one of the calls for papers that you circulated, I'm officially published. I also use the emails to stay in touch with people, by forwarding items that might be of interest.

Congrats, that is great news. Perhaps you can put the link or paper on the network. Would appreciate if you could let others know about the network.

Hi Craig
you can use my comments for the development of this net work.

i will not help saying that this net work is actually what we need for a better change in the world especially in the domain of conflict resolution and peace.this net work has helped me in several areas,firstly i have made reasonable contacts with rational minds who are willing to help at any time with answers and suggestions to my questions.the fact that i have met people who have same dreams and aspirations for peace like me,is an achievement.i strongly believe my dream of getting a scholarship and fostering my studies in conflict resolution will be made a reality someday through this web site.I am also looking forward to be opportuned to attend some of the conferences and already being a member is my guarantee.to all colleagues of this net work,i wish you strengh to keep on doing the good work.

Bonjour Craig,

Hi Craig,

Besides the the obvious benefit of information and contacts, I have to say the network is inspirational just because one feels there's always opportunity out there to study, train, contribute.

The network doesn't end with my own membership - I often see great opportunities advertised and I pass it on to other friends and colleagues in the Pacific who may be interested.

It's a good way to connect people from my small country and region to activists like them in the world.

Cheers

I always postpone responding to this request because it is difficult for us to quantify or adequately summarize the impact of this project-planet Peace & Collaborative Development Network. The network has enabled us to: help students ( providing your information/guides on finding & funding education opportunities),
help non-profits, including our own ,
and help individuals all over the US & our friends in Africa & the Middle East.
I don't think that a week has gone by without the PCDN providing important information that we shared.
Thank you!

Well, i was able to meet new people, especially those back home and working in Northern Uganda, the region that has been unstable for over 20 years but peace building is underway though.

I am positive, i will gain a lot more from the net work. Am watching the space.

Thanks Craig
