RESOURCE: Learning to Live Together 2004 and 2008 Publications (UNESCO, IBE and GTZ)
We would like to highlight two 'sister' publications that provide guidance on how education can help learners understand conflict and its prevention, respect human rights and become active and peaceful members of society. The first book published in 2004 synthesizes topics including education for peace, human rights, citizenship an health-preserving behaviours, providing numerous cases drawn from post-conflict and transition settings. The second publication (2008) focuses on monitoring and evaluation process for education programmes that tackle these critical issues.
