We developed this system for UNLoCK. A similar system can easily be developed that would include a predictive model. Of course, the accuracy of the predictions would be the problem. Take a look... www.camp.thegadflyproject.org
The WFP recently produced this interesting paper: http://www.wfp.org/content/occasional-paper-24-food-insecurity-and-... . It discusses their analysis of the underlying causes of violent conflict. Global Map Aid are responsible for mapping indices of poverty and it could be a useful tool for predicting where violent conflict might arise. Also, I really liked this project, which is working on information analysis for predicting where and when crisis might occur: www.recordedfuture.com.
Also, GIS expert, Christine Broenner and myself recently put together this crowdmap, which might be a useful resource for you in looking for those involved in Conflict Early Warning Systems (it is a crowd-sourced resource, which will grow as people add their own entries, so if you don't find what you're looking for now it may have something relevant for you in the near future)...keep your eyes peeled! And good luck.
Best wishes, Laura
Thanks a lot for all the replysr. However, as you will have noticed yourself only a few ones can be seen due to the problems this website is experiencing. I repeat what Craig suggested:

Thus if those who are concerned could follow this suggestion so I can read their earlier replys. Thanks a lot and be assured this is a great help for my research.
Hi, Thanks for checking and requesting tools which could be used to predict . To anticipate the potencial conflicts over lands, and other armed conflicts in Mindanao, community based early warning early response mechanism would be very useful. it is belong to fourth generation method that is used to monitor and and provide proactive interventions to prevent the spill over to other fragile areas in conflict affected areas.
