The Policy & Analysis Unit of the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation invite applications for a 20-hour per week paid internship from candidates who meet the following requirements:

Applicants should be in possession of, or in the process of completing a postgraduate degree in Political Studies, Public Administration, Development Studies or a related discipline.
Conditions of appointment:
An initial 3-month contract will be offered, with the possibility of renewal. Applicants from South Africa and other African countries are encouraged to apply.
Please submit a CV, cover letter, details of three contactable referees and an example of a short essay or research paper (maximum of 1000 words) to Ms. Margo Newman on mnewman@ijr.org.za by 26 April 2012. Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
