I'd love to be involved. It has been my dream to create a training workshop on similar lines teaching the peaceful, harmonious ways of dealing with all aspects of life and society. I wanted to teach aikido, hands on healing, permaculture, facilitation, and alternative politics and economics. I also thought it would be great to encourage people's own artistic expressions and see how the group can create some kind of group artwork.

I would be happy to help, either from here over the internet, or in person.
Hi G Alexander
Nice to hear from you and the interest you have shown in our work.I will be glad to have your support in any way.At the moment we are doing lots of things to make this project a success. We are raising funds for the project, writing proposals to funders and to have enough resources to make it a success. We shall have a camp training/ workshop for young people, on the theme, active non violence, conflict resolution and management,we shall spread the workshop to every three months depending on availability of resources.Feel free to get in touch and we shall accordingly feel you in as far as the project is concerned
Are you coming across any obstacles? What is needed to make it really successful?
Yes am having a few challenges but just like in doing something where you face obstacles. One of them is that, we need to get a contact in the US that would act as a recommender for our project cause one of the reliable sources of funding for our project we identified is based in the US, so we are still pushing on slowly by slowly.Remember when some one is going to recommend you , they must know your project, organisation and we are really struggling with this. But i have a belief that as we keep on trying we shall not fail to get the way forward.
Secondly, the issue of resources,we are raising funds especially from foundations and overseas organisations therefore as you know this is something which can really stretch some one. Thanks once again for showing interest and keep in touch please
I have a contact who specialises in finding funding for NGO's. Would you like his assistance?
I will be very happy to get in touch with him and get he necessary support.Mean while thanks once again

Dear Joshua, I am interested in your program. I have a background in teaching and in law. Some of my areas of interest are similar to yours, namely democratization and conflict resolution. I am particularly interested in transformative justice and conflict resolution. How many 3-week workshops are you planning and over what period of time? Thanks, Nancy Patete
Hi Nancy
Nice to hear that you are interested in what we are planning to do.Basically what we shall have is a two -three weeks camp/ training with young people and this will cover the four regions of uganda. We shall spread these two every three months or four months depending on availability of resources. The theme of the workshops will include, active non violence, civil rights, conflict resolution and management, social entreprenuership.we shall be glad to have your support in any way that you would feel convinient with to help us be part of this program.
At the moment we are doing alot of work to make this happen and this include raising funds, writing proposals to different funders to mention but a few. This program is scheduled to take place with effect from april 2010.Nancy we shall be glad to have you, so donot hesitate to get in touch if there is any other way you can make this happen
