This is awesome...quite timely a book! I'm afraid, many are still writing/reading Integrated Warmaking.
Thanks unfortunately there is still too much warmaking in the world but Peacebuilding is growing in reach and impact. It is important to be aware though global military spending is over 1.6 trillion, spending on bilateral development assistance is around 128 billion, in peacekeeping less than 10 billion, and explicit support for Peacebuilding activities is less than 3 billion ( all figures are in usd). Thus the world does not only need to do more peacemaking and Peacebuilding, but increase our support for such activities.

It is difficult to find exact total spending on Peacebuilding as the number could be different depending on how one defines Peacebuilding and its connection with other sectorss. I do have a chapter in the book in the business of Peacebuilding which discusses many of these issues.

Curious to hear thoughts from others. Integrated warmaking is a catchy title but personally wouldn't want to write that book.

this certainly looks likes a worthwhile book for anyone involved in peace building.

Practical one! Great book!

Thanks would appreciate if you could let others know about the book and of course pcdn

Congratulations Craig - this looks like a fantastic resource!

Dear Craig,

Thanks for sharing. I am sure it will provide an insightful view at transformation in this era. I have recently started my PhD degree at the University of London, will surely read this. Regards, Kusha!
