Title: New Orleans Area Program Director Supervisor: Regional Director, South Region Region/Unit: South Regional Office Location: New Orleans, LA
Summary of Principal Responsibilities
The New Orleans Area Program Director (NOPD) oversees AFSC program work in the New Orleans area, providing strategic and creative leadership in the work. The NOPD is responsible for a comprehensive approach to intervening in the cycle of violence, incarceration and recidivism among youth and young adults in the New Orleans area, with a specific focus on the African American community. The NOPD will provide leadership in program learning and advocacy for changing policy affecting the communities served. She / he will supervise program staff and volunteers in the New Orleans area, and work with a local program committee.

Compensation: Salary Range 16 (Base $52,716) – Exempt – Comprehensive medical and hospitalization plan; term life, accident and salary continuation insurances, defined benefit pension plan, plus fringe benefits; participation in unemployment and worker’s compensation and social security.
