Hello comrades in peace building and development.

Thank you all for your input on my initial request for KSAs in graduate peace building programs last May (2011). As a continuation of the same research project, I would like your assistance on how to do an impact evaluation for the Rotary Peace Fellowship program. The survey to the graduates for which I needed information on KSAs went on well and gave me a lot of useful information. The key questions in the survey asked graduates to rate KSAs in terms of importance to their current employment, and the data shows that 80% of the respondents indicated that the listed KSAs were important in their current jobs.

That being the case, I am interested in finding out from the graduates whether they are making an impact or not in their current employment. I guess saying the KSAs are important to their work is one thing and being able to apply the KSAs in the work environment is another. I will be meeting with some of the respondents to the survey in Thailand in May 2012 for the Rotary World Peace Symposium. Therefore my interest at this point is to get assistance in designing some standard interview questions that I may use in Thailand or elsewhere for interviews with the graduates. The responses to these questions together with other pieces of information collected so far will help me to evaluate the impact of the Rotary Peace Fellowship program from the graduates' perspective.

The questions are meant to solicit responses related to:

(1) Experiences of graduates since completing the program

(2) Opinions/values about the program and its impact

(3) Feelings/emotions (impact of program on their professional life)

(4) KSAs utilization in current employment

(5) Future prospects of the program

The above areas are just part of my thinking aloud on the subject, but with your input we can have additions and/or subtractions.
