Human Rights Day 2012

Dear friends,

I would like to share with you a movie that some friends and I have made as a raising-awareness tool for Human Rights Day 2012, with the support of the Council of Europe and the United Network of Young Peacebuilders. You can see it here

One of the aims of making this video is to have it used as a human rights awareness-raising and promotion tool by human rights workers and advocates, to help them get their message across and have a starting point for human rights debates in schools or other groups.

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination.
