It is a day long conference with a few experts in development speakers. You will have the opportunity to learn more about
- Technology and Development possibilities with Yaw Nyarko (NYU) and William Easterly (NYU)
- Randomized experiments with Esther Duflo and Abhijit Banerjee (MIT) They will also sign their book Poor Economics
- The founder of Good African Coffee in Uganda will share some on the field insights
- We will then have Michael Clemens (Center for Global Development), Stewart Paperin (Open Society Foundation), Bernadette Wanjala (Tilburg University Development Research Institute)opening up on development goals and learning projects from Africa.
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided but this will be a wonderful experience for students, professionals, researchers focused on Development.
As a student of science, now retired scientist from Delhi, India i would welcome if there could be an opportunity for interactions in reference to the findings at DRI's 2012 Annual Conference, and beyond. Thanks.
