D&F Academy Peace Project 2013
Are you passionate about promoting peace and conflict resolution? Do you want to work on an innovative venture of your own? Then apply for the unique one year D&F Academy Peace Project with Nobel Peace Prize nominee Dr. Scilla Elworthy and other eminent experts. Plan your own venture to foster peace building and implement it in your home country.
Come to the D&F Academy Hamburg for ten weeks from July to September 2013 to learn how to spread inspiring stories of peace worldwide! During the subsequent ten months you will work on your own ventures at home, supported by the D&F Academy.
During the ten weeks in Hamburg, up to 20 Fellows from around the world will learn from their Project Friend, famous peace activist Dr Scilla Elworthy, and other experts, how to use their imagination and creativity to build a campaign highlighting the great work of local peace builders worldwide. As a Fellow, you will have the chance to engage with practitioners from the fields of peace building, international development and communications. During the following ten months you will have the unique opportunity to develop and implement a venture you are passionate about with the support of an innovative online curriculum and an experienced mentor.
