Social Media Exchange is proud to announce our latest and most ambitious Arabic-language social media guide to date: Creating Facebook Pages with Impact: A Guide for Arab Civil Society.... We researched and wrote the guide primarily for new Arab activists as well as for more experienced organizers still getting a grasp on how to leverage social media over the long term.

The 72-page guide offers a nine-step approach to setting up, managing, and monitoring a Facebook Page for organizations and campaigns. It offers pointers on setting goals, developing engaging content and community guidelines, tracking Insights, and keeping your Page secure.

The soft copy PDF is free and available under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license, so anyone is free to adapt, remix, and reuse the guide for commercial or noncommercial purposes, as long as they credit SMEX. An English version is forthcoming.

**We hope that you'll please encourage your program staff and partners to download the guide.** We can also mail limited quantities of hard copies to organizations that can cover shipping costs—sign up to reserve print copiesfor your organization.

Commissioned by IREX-Iraq, the guide represents a major accomplishment for SMEX. We hope you and your partners will find it a valuable resource.
