As news of Bin-Laden's death took to the airwaves one could not ignore the images of celebration. The social networks were flooded with comments that condoned the violent end and even glorified it. As advocates for non-violence, how do we explain to children the events of the past few days? How can we say violence and taking another human life is wrong yet they see it glorified? How do we explain the contradiction?

Good Day Christine.  I too wonder how we will justify or try to explain this to our children...

For those who lost their loved ones due to the activities of one person, I know it feels good to have some sense of closure.  With the killing of OBL have we achieved World Peace?  We have a lot of work to do.

Thanks,
