Civil society organisations are requested to submit information for a report being prepared by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, on 'effective measures and best practices to ensure the promotion and protection of human rights in the context of peaceful protests. Deadline for submissions: November 15, 2012.
Submissions should be provided in electronic format to registry(at)ohchr.org and a copy to rhusbands(at)ohchr.org.

The report is being prepared prior to the 22nd session of the Human Rights Council, in accordance with Resolution 19/35.
