Fahamu seeks to recruit a dynamic, organised, motivated and results-oriented individual for a 12-month contract as a programme associate, working under the Adilisha program.

The position is based in Nairobi, with extensive fieldwork within Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities

The program associate will coordinate the fellows’ placement in host organisations and implementation of their individual projects. The post holder will:

• - Coordinate the design, implementation and monitoring of fellows’ community based social justice projects

• - Support online linkages among fellows, mentors, and resource persons; affiliate organisations, host organisations and other Adilisha program alumni for learning and experience sharing.

• - Compile monthly fellowship workshops narrative reports

• - Collect program literature and information for the fellowship book publication.

• - Support in logistics for the fellowship workshops, placement and regional travel
